on Saturday, October 2nd,1999 Bill Walton was at republic's store at 212 Center street in Auburn for 2 full hours to give all the fans that show up a chance to meet him and get his autograph for free. All people had to bring that day was an item they want signed and enough energy to last through all of the excitement !!!
we had lots of fun things to do like NBA trivia and shoot for the hoop contests Free to enter with lots of prizes given away including great prizes like regulation size basketballs, boxes of 98/99 Topps basketball, boxes of 98/99 Hoops basketball, Upper Deck Black Diamond uncut sheets, toys from Mattel and much more !!
